We are looking for an HRBP. The purpose of this position is to ensure that all aspects of the HR function are delivered, developed and monitored, to meet the growth, scale and changing needs of the business. Responsibilities include management of the day to day HR operations.
In addition the role includes assisting the HR Manager, who is based in Aalst, by providing input from both an HR and an organizational aspect into all strategic and project related decisions as well as providing an overall HR direction to the company.
Principal Tasks & Responsibilities
- You are responsible for the day-to-day operations and payroll administration in close collaboration with the HR Manager.
- You are the first point of contact for employees and you play an important role in the company communication and company events, together with the HR Mgr.
- You establish and maintain work regulations and related company policies as well as company job descriptions.
- You organize all recruitment tasks with temp agencies: advertisements, selection of candidates for vacant positions, training new employees….., You organize, support, coordinate the implementation of company training plans.
- You conduct exit interviews and analyze the results in order to optimize the motivation and retention of the employees.
- You participate to the coordination of the well-being projects at work: ergonomic rules, medical check-ups, atmosphere…
- You coordinate the follow-up of extra-legal benefit schemes.
- You manage payroll data and processes, analyse data in function of social legislation and labor law.
- You are responsible for follow-up of the time and attendance system.
- Bachelor degree with focus on HR
- As least 3-5 years relevant experience, the knowledge of the transport CLA is a plus
- Experience in setting up HR infrastructure
- Experience with Protime and SdWorx (or equivalent)
- Outstanding communicator, comfortable working within a multicultural Corporate environment
- Highly drive, professional, energetic and focuses on driving growth
- Commercially astute, exhibiting strong interpersonal skills and enthusiasm
- Hands-on approach when necessary
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs
- High value on integrity by consistently being honest, trustworthy and ethical
- Excellent analytical skills, ability to deal with new subjects
- Keeps himself/herself updated of all local laws, rules and regulations and obtains appropriate legal counsel regarding the business practices
- Strong knowledge with MS office products
- Fluent in French, Dutch & English
