Vacancy For one of the biggest international IT company we are looking for a Test Automation Engineer. They are known for delivering consultancy services to their clients and partners active in different sectors. You will work with customers and stakeholders - both external and internal to the company. You work with analysts, test engineers, developers and software engineers to integrate Java into business applications and websites. You will be involved throughout the development cycle of a product. Location: 2 days Mechelen / 2 days Brussels / 1 day from home Description Create/maintain manual and automated test cases or test scenarios. Create test sets (scenario’s, cases, environments, data, ...). Work with the functional and technical teams to develop new test cases. Testing and troubleshooting. Validate non-functional requirements. Define and execute integration including the definition and selection of test data, using necessary system tests. Report and follow-up of defects in the company defect tracking tool. Profile Knowledge of modern software design and development methods such as: OO, UML, Agile Development (Scrum, Kanban) Experience with continuous integration and devops activities Hands-on with containerized applications, microservices Good initial experience developing system, system integration tests and regression test suites Thorough knowledge of one or more scripting languages Varied technical baggage: data management (SQL), SoapUI, MS Coded UI testing, Dynatrace XML, XSD, Web Services, ... Skilled communicator and experience with teamwork or project-oriented work. Language requirements: fluent (oral and written) in Dutch and English....
