For a high-tech, international company located in Leuven we're looking for a Junior Financial Analyst to join their finance department. Do you have a master's degree in economics, and are you motivated to learn and develop yourself in a varied and challenging position? This might be something for you! The Junior Financial Analyst will be responsible for: You'll collaborate closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting. This means you'll be: Participating in the monthly closing process Performing closing checks and reconciliations Assisting in audits and fiscal data collection/analyses You'll prepare periodic management reporting and perform insightful financial analysis for management, including cost variance analysis, profitability analysis, and KPI tracking. You'll assist in the annual budget preparation and quarterly update cycles, including forecasting of the P&L, cash, and foreign currency. You'll contribute to improving and executing on the internal controls and processes, and act as a finance key user for ERP and BI maintenance and improvement projects.
