For the development of our current and future offshore wind farms, we are currently looking for a Junior WTG Engineer to reinforce our Technology department. As a Junior WTG Engineer, you will: Develop the WTG package within a largescale offshore wind project in close collaboration with the WTG package manager, from procurement until offshore installation. Identify and manage the interfaces between the WTG package and the rest of the project organization Carefully and diligently safeguard that the supplied documentation, equipment, components, tools etc., are in compliance with the Employer’s Requirements and the Contractor’s specification through focused reviews, inspections, witnessing etc. Proactively identify and manage risks related to WTG supply and its interfaces with other packages. Be proactive on Safety and Quality and take initiatives to secure and increase the Safety and Quality standards within the internal and external activities Maintain a good and strong working relationship with WTG Supplier’s project team Ensure smooth handover of the WTGs to our Operations & Maintenance department Report to the WTG package manager and work closely together with the other project team members. You have a master’s degree in relevant engineering discipline (Electrical, Mechanical or Naval) and demonstrated a strong appetite for industrialscale energy projects trough your development path. A first experience in renewable energy projects (preferably offshore wind) is considered a plus. You have academical knowledge of wind turbines or similar technology and a very strong appetite to deep dive into wind turbine technology, especially WTG drive train technology and electrical technology. You have a Quality and Safety mindset with knowledge of QHSSE principles You are a fluent communicator in English (written as well as spoken). Knowledge of other languages is considered a plus You are a team player, diligent and possess a high integrity You are able to manage your own workload and meet demanding timelines You are able to travel within Europe and willing to go offshore for short missions.
